said: "My husband and l have just returned from a 3 night break staying at the Appleby Inn again as we stayed there last year whilst visiting Donington Park. This hotel is great just off the Motorway really easy to find lovely setting, food is home cooked, room clean spacious, and as for the staff they are really friendly and cannot do enough for you, i.e. breakfast at weekend is from 8.30am when they found out we were leaving every day early for the Moto GP racing they opened restaurant at 7.00am as in the week and you could have what ever you wanted cooked, cereal, toast, tea and coffee, as for evening meals they are cooked fresh and served in restaurant/bar tastefully decorated (has been extended since last year due to popularity), we certainly will be booking in again next year and would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone"

said: "The front of hotel very noisy due to traffic even with the window closed. I did have it open at first due to heat but way to noisy so had to close it, otherwise a good nice clean hotel and friendly"

The breakfast tables summed this up - they were left as trestles from the previous evening's party and not separated.
