All staff were really friendly & went out of their way to be helpful: from the waitresses at meal times to the receptionist who ran out after us as we left just to tell us the best route for our homeward journey. We absolutely loved our stay at the Unicorn."

Breakfast was basic but good quality, service was very good.
Parking was no problem, with plenty of spaces either at the front of the hotel or at the rear. I will probably stay here again assuming I can get another good deal.

Getting back into the hotel after midnight proved a challenge with the doorcode as a little difficult in the dark - Could do with a light near the rear entrance/exit."

We did try to phone the hotel all evening to explain that we would be arriving late but there was no answer and when we enquired about this they said the phone was off the hook. We couldn`t even get a drink at this stage as everything had been locked up which I thought was very poor after a long journey. Apart from this it was a nice hotel."
