said: "This hotel saved my life! Wedding Anniversary weekend...mix up with original hotel booking, left us in the middle of North Devon with no where to stay...who comes to the rescue...the staff & management at the Imperial! Not only did they accomodate us at the 11th hour at a discounted rate, after hearing our plight they filled the room with fruit, flowers & greetings card, & this was in addition to the robes, slippers, fantastically comfy room & river views! This is a top class, first rate hotel. Always looking for an excuse to return, a real shining light in the hospitality industry."
