Breakfasts were good and the pub is a comfortable, enjoyable place to relax. It was like a home away from home. It is also just a few steps from Ealing Broadway and tube, train, bus and taxi service.

There is no reception, the guy on the bar checked me in, in between pulling pints. The room was through the bar and up umpteen flights of stairs to the 4th floor, no lift. The linen and towels were very cheap quality and dated and didn`t inspire confidence. In fact the bedspread and pillow cases were a chintz pattern nylon material. The two bedside cupboards were cheap and chipped. There was no phone and no hair dryer. The `colour` on TV was in green and blue only, only 4 channels were tuned in. I couldn`t find ITV at all and BBC1 wasn`t tuned in for sound.
It was a 3 person room (I only wanted single anyway) but there was no bath, only a shower. Breakfast was 7.30am to 8.30am which was too early for me so I missed it.
The general reception I received was a bit `Fawlty Towers` - polite but not exactly welcoming.
