It was not made clear in booking that the pub is actually closed on Sunday so I arrived to a locked door and had to phone them to get in! This could be made clearer in the hotel description.

The house had a tv and sofas and dining table and Kitchen. Of the two rooms upstairs one was ensuite. There was a separate toilet at the back of the house downstairs."

location is great for trains and walking to main street was 5 minutes.
No breakfast included but a small shop straight across the road is handy and there are tea-making facilities in room.
The lady in charge was really helpful and made me feel very welcome.
Home from home.
Will stay at this hotel again.

The carpet in the room was dirty and needed changing really - but overall the room cleanlliness was very good. There was no breakfast on the Sunday morning, and I could hear the room above's toilet flush at 4 in the morning. The duvet on the single bed was too small as well. However the location was good and the staff were friendly and for the price it wasn't too bad."
