said: "My stay at the Old Stone Trough hotel was lovely . The rooms were clean tidy and spacious, but the bathrooms needed some updating, the shower didn't work and the bath looked like it hadn't been cleaned very well. The meals I had at the Old Stone Trough were excellent. The hotel was in a great location in Barnoldswick."

We did tell the receptionist when we checked out, so I would hope they would do something about it. Apart from that, although the rooms are slightly small, it was very comfy and warm."

Having never been into the restaurant, I had no idea what to expect but I was thoroughly pleased and it far outweighed my expectations. Rooms are tastefully furnished (although the bed was a little hard), views are spectacular and the friends I met up with for dinner on the Friday agreed that the food was gorgeous. Combine that with the bus stop right outside the hotel (Particularly as my car had broken down before I set off for my visit) and you've got a pretty top-notch stay! Not only would I consider staying again, I'd be checking out the price on this place over the Travelodge when I plan my next trip to the area. "
