said: "Our room faced onto the road and from the first floor the road and pedestrian noise prevented us from getting to sleep before 2am and woke us again at 6.30am. Our room was also `in-tune` with the buses and vibrated as they waited outside.
This hotel clearly needs better sound insulation and at least double-glazing. The beds are very hard, have no padding and the springs squeak.
When asked for a refund so we could take a £40 taxi ride home at 12.30am (it was that bad) we were told they do not give refunds and had no quieter rooms. They did offer us earplugs.

said: "This hotel is situated in a great location i.e. central to Salisbury but unfortunately it is over a pub, so come 11pm till about 2am the music is incredibly loud. There after you could clearly hear loud people on the streets. It was a complete let down and I heard a number of guests complaining when we were checking out. "
