said: "A very friendly atmosphere. Graeme and Catherine were lovely people and made you feel just at home. The rooms were nicely decorated and the food was excellent. They are however still in the process of renewing some rooms but this did not affect our stay. I would recommed this hotel to my friends and relations. I would say that we would stay there again. It was very central and a good base for travelling round the lake district. "
