This is not a gastro pub with rooms nor, really a fully blown hotel, but a village inn. It serves very good well-cooked pub food in a friendly atmosphere. The situation of the inn is idyllic and the staff very helpful. On arrival we were even allowed to change the rooms originally booked and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again."

Definitely needs a lot of updating. Only had cereal and toast for breakfast so could not rate the food at this hotel by that. The manageress was the only person we saw. Slightly noisy as the rooms are over a pub. Towels were clean and there was hot water but no toiletries were supplied."
