Ringwood Hall Hotel`s main house is over 200 years old and has grade 11 listed building status. Our style is traditional (with modern facilities) as you would expect with a Country House Hotel. We do not have a lift and many of the rooms are some way from reception, with several small flights of stairs to navigate. If you require assistance with luggage on arrival please ask our reception team ton arrange assistance.
From M1 North. (Junction 30): Follow signs for A619 towards Staveley, stay on A619 through Mastin Moor and Staveley, rising out of the valley Ringwood Hall is set back on the left hand side of this road.
From M1 South (Junction 29)A617 to Chesterfield, take right lane as approach first island, take 3rd exit onto A61. At next island (Tesco) take the 3rd exit signposted A619 Worksop. Take 2nd exit at next island (Sainsbury`s), follow road uphill passing crematorium on right. Bear left on one way system, the hotel is situated on the right hand side as you descend the hill.
From A61, traveling out of Chesterfield town centre, join the A619 at the roundabout and continue through Brimington heading towards Staveley. we are a short distance down the road set back on the right. Watch out for the recently installed brown tourism signs on both approaches to the hotel.
All bedrooms have flat screen plasma TVs providing multi channel freeview television. The hotel does have a large screen TV which is sited in the Markham Bar for any football matches, rugby internationals or other sporting events which our guests can enjoy.
Sports and Leisure
Many businesses and organisations use Ringwood Hall`s 29 acres of grounds for outdoor events, corporate or family fun days, and team building activities. Ringwood Hall has its own 4x4 driving track in the grounds, and holds a licence for clays pigeon shooting. All outdoor events are operated by our event company associates - details on request.

Stuff for Kids
Guests staying on a one or two night leisure break, have children up to 12 years of age (max 2) stay at no charge when they use a rollup bed in their parents bedroom. Their breakfast is complimentary, but all other meals taken are chargeable. The hotel has rooms suitable for use of a rollup bed, for families with older children please speak to our reception team with your requirements.
