The Manor House is set in 137 acres of Berkshire countryside that makes up Aldermaston Park. Built in 1848 and incorporating many features from an earlier Jacobean mansion, this carefully restored country house is now an elegant and atmospheric hotel.
The hotel has 33 individual bedrooms and is ideally located in the M3/M4 corridor, less than 10 miles from Reading, Newbury and Basingstoke.
There are seven conference and meeting rooms available for booking, the largest being the Sir Malcolm Stuart, which can accommodate up to 80 delegates and has the facility for an exhibition area, depending on room layout style.
The daily conference package includes an excellent buffet luncheon, tea and coffee and room hire. The overnight package also includes evening meal and Full English breakfast.
Weddings
The once family owned Manor House of Aldermaston has been transformed into a wonderful wedding venue. Combined with a fabulous venue and experienced friendly staff, the Manor House will make your wedding day second to none. Over the years, we have built up a reputation for exemplary food, fine wine and excellent service.
We are now licensed to hold wedding ceremonies in the oak panelled library.
Restaurants
The Manor House prides itself on the quality and variety of the cuisine on offer to guests and the Chef is delighted to cater for special tastes. The main restaurant can seat 35 diners, while conference delegates also benefit from use of the Gallery restaurant. Either room is available for functions if required.
Accommodation
Guests can choose from 34 individually planned and decorated en-suite bedrooms, each one furnished with a colour television, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer, trouser press, radio alarm clock and tea & coffee making facilities.
Leisure
Leisure facilities include tennis, putting, croquet, snooker & pool, sauna, sun beds, steam room and gym, so relaxation is never a problem. Alternatively, guests can unwind with a stroll through the extensive grounds.
Functions
The main function rooms can host private dinners, dinner-dances and wedding receptions for up to 140 people or cocktail receptions for up to 250. At the other end of the scale there is an intimate private dining room for 12, or the Courtyard, which is deal for birthday and anniversary parties.
