Do you mourn the loss of the good old British pub? In the days before they were all turned into gastro-pubs - or closed altogether? The sort of place where you could go any given night of the week and there would be something going on. A place that felt like home, but without the responsibility, like going out, but without the effort.

We missed the good old British pub so much, we decided to bring it back; The Holroyd Arms Guildford.

Games

Choose to play on any of our three dart boards. Or if pool is more your style we have a table waiting for you. And if that doesn’t grab you, how about thrashing your best mate at a game of table football? For something a little more cerebral try our poker leagues.

Entertainment

We have a great line-up of music from the best local bands and performers and regular disco nights.

Sky Sports

To make sure you don’t miss a single kick, we have Sky Sports on two huge plasma screens in the bar plus the big screen in our function room.

Bar Food

We have everything from jacket potatoes to curry, served throughout the day up until last orders.

Café

From 7:30am Monday to Saturday you can fill up with a classic English Breakfast at The Holroyd.

B&B

Staying in the Guildford area? We’re minutes from the town centre and a stone’s throw from the A3, and have eight purpose-built rooms.
