The Saracen's Head is featured in Charles Dickens 'The Pickwick Papers'. The same friendly atmosphere is still in evidence today, allied with modern standards of comfort. The resident's lounge and the lounge bar are both ideal meeting places in which to enjoy a glass of wine or real ale. Delicious bar meals are served in the lounge bar.
