The Windmill Inn Hotel was first established as an inn during the 17th century and is situated in the heart of the pretty Northamptonshire village of Badby. It is a traditional thatched country pub, complete with log burning stoves and stone-flagged floors.

You would not believe what is going on in this area, and the history that surrounds this hotel. We are located in a superb part of Northamptonshire with countryside that is as good if not better than the Cotswolds. The surrounding woods and meadows provide excellent walking, Badby being the start of both the Knightley and Nene Ways, makes us an ideal venue to start or end your day.
Whether you are here for a relaxing weekend or as a business stopover, (Wi-fi available throughout the hotel), we can cater for all your requirements. We have set up golf packages with a couple of local courses and can offer you play and stay facilities at a very good rate. Also they are able to offer pool, gym and spa facilities.
A local point of interest within a 20 minute walk through the woods, is Fawsley Hall who offer afternoon teas, this is a treat not to be missed if you are feeling flush! Silverstone race circuit is a short drive away and has many events held throughout the year, including the Grand Prix and Classic Car weekends. If shopping is your ‘bag’, within a 15 minute drive away, there is a lovely converted barn shopping complex called the Heart of the Shires, offering a variety of individual luxury shops to suit all pockets. Also, not too far away is Bicester Designer Discount Village which is certainly worth an afternoon’s visit.
Our accommodation has had a complete over-haul being totally refurbished in a modern, fresh contemporary style. All our rooms are en-suite with new flat screen televisions and tea/coffee making facilities. Our beds are new and comfortable, furnished with Egyptian cotton bed linen just to make your stay that little bit more luxurious and a lovely place to relax and unwind after that perfect meal and bottle of wine in either our cozy snug or more formal restaurant!
‘The Windmill’ is our Executive accommodation which is located in the older part of the hotel and furnished with a king-sized bed, double en-suite shower, and subtle décor.
We have added a full sky movies and sky sports package to every room which is included in the price of your stay.
