The White Lady is located in Edinburgh’s fashionable Corstorphine area.
Once a small village on the outskirts of Edinburgh, it is now a prosperous suburb, renowned for its boutique shops and lively, fashionable restaurants and bars. The hotel offers 30 bedrooms, five of which are family rooms, with five twin rooms and twenty double bedrooms.
The White Lady is perfectly situated to enjoy all that Edinburgh has to offer.
It is just half a mile from Edinburgh Zoo and one mile from the Gyle Shopping Centre.
The beautiful and historic city centre is just a couple of miles from the hotel, with its diverse range of attractions, from Dynamic Earth and Edinburgh Castle to the camera obscura and the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Walkers and wildlife-lovers can explore the surrounding coast and countryside of East, West and Midlothian perfect for beach walks in Gullane or Yellowcraigs, with great walks along the Pentland Hills and country parks to explore like Beecraigs near Linlithgow.Minehead's wide, sandy beach stretches for a mile, from The Strand to Warren Point, while there is a pebble beach running towards the harbour. These beaches, so readily accessible, along with the recently built promenade, remain a major attraction. It comes as no surprise, therefore, that Minehead grew as a holiday destination, during Victorian times, and remains a popular resort town to this day.
While Minehead can satisfy visitors in its own right, the surrounding area is genuinely one of the most beautiful parts of Britain. Exmoor provides a unique beauty and tranquillity among its heather-clad moorlands, with spectacular views where they meet plunging cliffs and sheltered bays. In Somerset, you are spoilt for choice, as the beauty continues in the shape of the Blackdown Hills, the Mendip Hills and the Quantock Hills, where walkers, wildlife-lovers and railway enthusiasts, keen to witness the beauty from the West Somerset Steam Railway, will not be disappointed.
