Excellent value for money- large, clean room. Breakfast of toast and cereal a real let down. We checked out and found somewhere to eat. Would recommend. Reviewed by Anonymous on 8 Dec 2012

This purpose built hotel is ideally situated for both leisure and business clients. It has extensive conference and banqueting facilities.

Rates are for room and continental breakfast. Bar snacks served throughout the day in the lounge. The bright reception area leads to a comfortable lounge in which guests can relax, watch television and welcome friends by the fireplace. The warm and friendly bar area is perfect to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink, tea, coffee and snacks.

Our roof top restaurant. The Crystal Suite, provides superb panoramic views, south to Kent and north to the London Eye and Central London.

This magnificent Victorian hotel, named the Queen's, opened for business in 1856 to accommodate visitors to the fabled Crystal Palace. The astonishing glass and steel structure was moved piece by piece from Hyde Park, where it had housed the Great Exhibition of 1852, to a site just 700 yards from our front door on the top of Sydenham Hill where it could be seen for miles around. After hosting the great and the good for more that 150 years, the hotel has been renamed, refurbished and re-launched. Today you can still see for miles across London and the Southern counties from the Roof Top Restaurant.
