The Red Lion Hotel is a carefully refurbished 18th century family run hotel situated in the centre of the the picturesque market town of Spalding, Lincolnshire. The bedrooms are all en-suite with colour TV, direct dial telephones, Wifi and full tea and coffee making facilities. At the beginning of the day, experience the friendly ambience created by our locals chatting over fresh bean to cup coffee, through lunchtime where business people and shoppers enjoy a lunchtime drink. At the end of the day, the cheerful bustle of this comfortable lounge bar provides just the right atmosphere where guests can relax. The bar offers a minimum of four Real Ales, which are currently Bass, Theakston Best, London Pride and Abbot Ale. We have an entry in The Good Beer Guide 2010.

  Super-helpful staff - the general idea here seems to be that nothing is too much trouble. It`s a bit old-fashioned but has character, unlike so many modern hotel chains. Super-helpful staff - the general idea here seems to be that nothing is too much trouble. It`s a bit old-fashioned but has character, unlike so many modern hotel chains. Great location in the centre of the town with parking right outside. Nice breakfast. Great value for money - I`d recommend this hotel.

Parking on the High Street. No food in the evenings.nice and clean though.
