Privately owned and established in 1920, the Glen Mhor offers you warm, relaxed and friendly service whether you're visiting Inverness for business or pleasure. The hotel consists of 5 charming, adjacent riverside town house properties, each with its own individual style, fitted and furnished to the same high standard.

Let our enthusiastic and attentive staff look after you while you enjoy the comfortable facilities Glen Mhor has to offer. Be swept away by the natural beauty of the location, visit some of the wonderful attractions in the area, or simply enjoy the creations available in the hotel restaurants and let the Kitchen Brigade delight you with the days menu.

The Glen Mhor Hotel offers spacious and warm, naturally lit reception rooms, 50 beautiful en-suite bedrooms. The hotel sits on the banks of the River Ness, so many rooms enjoy lovely views of the River and Inverness Cathedral. To enjoy these views, simply book a "River" room. The remaining rooms look out to the tree-lined hill behind the hotel. The relaxed and charming character of the Glen Mhor provides the perfect location for a comfortable stay home-from-home.

The hotel is ideally situated for the many golf courses you can find within a short distance of Inverness.

Nico's Bistro is a place you can enjoy carefully prepared fine Scottish produce: From Aberdeen Angus beef to fresh mussels from Kinlochleven, Organic Shetland salmon to scallops and langoustines from the West coast. As you might have gathered, Nico's takes special pride in seafood dishes, simply cooked. For steak lovers, you can enjoy cuts of fillet or sirloin, grilled to your taste.

There is so much to see and do using Inverness as your base. The town itself is beautifully situated on the banks of the River Ness. In its role of Capital of the Highlands it is a thriving business, commercial and entertainment centre well served by excellent road, rail and air links.

For an active holiday or a romantic weekend away, the town and its nearby villages offer superb shopping, sporting and sightseeing facilities. From golf to fishing, walking to sightseeing, we at the Glen Mhor are happy to help organise any activity. The countryside around is spectacular and trips on Loch Ness or surrounding area are highly recommended to experience the full beauty of Scotland.

We are situated at the start or finish of the Great Glen Way, with beautiful walks minutes away from the hotel. We are just a couple of minutes walk from the City Centre, the Railway Station, Eden Court Theatre and many other attractions. On and off street parking is ample.

Inverness also has a host of shopping opportunities and for those wishing to party into the wee hours, a lively nightlife.
