Built in 1398 The Bull Hotel is best described as a pub with bedrooms having been a town centre coaching inn for over 500 years. The hotel retains much of its historic character and charm including inglenook fireplace, sloping floors and a wealth of original oak beams but since being refurbished in October 2006 the hotel now offers a wonderful blend of both the old and the new under one roof.
Relaxed leather sofas and coffee tables create a sophisticated yet homely feel to the main bars, whilst each bedroom has its own individuality and offers most of the modern conveniences required by todays guests.
The Bull offers quality live music on both Fri and Sat evenings until midnight. The unique restaurant offers a wide range of both traditional and exciting dishes and represents excellent value for money.
