The Leopold Hotel opened in June 2007. It is Sheffield's first boutique hotel and is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

The Leopold Hotel is built on the former site of a Grade II listed Boys Grammar School. While retaining 19th century elegance and architectural detail, the Leopold seamlessly integrates contemporary design. No expense has been spared in fashioning the 90 luxurious air-conditioned bedrooms and 5 multi-functional conference and banqueting suites.

Carefully restored to its former grandeur, this multi-functional suite provides a truly magnificent backdrop to those extra-special occasions. The hotel holds a full Civil Licence for ceremonies to take place in a number of Suites.
