All of the Old Deanery’s rooms are of a high standard, with contemporary design in a historic setting, featuring modern bathrooms or shower rooms.
The Deanery’s restaurant was highly recommended by Paddy Burt and has been featured in various newspapers and magazines. There is something for everyone at the Old Deanery; please take a look at our website for our current menus.
Wednesday to Saturday our al a carte menu offers an exquisite array oflocal produce for you to savour. On Mondays and Tuesday’s there is a morerelaxed menu offering. We use the same delicious locally sourced produce butthe dishes are less formal. You would have to look long and hard to find abetter Sunday lunch than ours. Why not make a booking and see for yourself?
At the heart of the Old Deanery is its most helpful and friendly staff. You will be made to feel welcome and at home on your arrival by Linda and her wonderful front of house team.
The Deanery is ideally located right next to the beautiful Ripon Cathedral, and only a minute’s walk from everything this charming market town has to offer. A short drive away are the beauties and drama of the Yorkshire Dales and The North York Moors. Very close at hand and an essential part of your stay is the World Heritage site, Fountains Abbey.
