It is sometimes said that Gilwell Park is four venues in one. After all, where else can you scale a 22 metre-climbing tower, jump in a canoe, hold a meeting in a purpose built conference suite and enjoy overnight accommodation in a fully restored Grade II listed building. Set in 108 acres on the edge of Epping Forest, Gilwell Park combines historic location with amazing facilities just 20 minutes from central London.
Gilwell Park boasts 35 stylish en suite bedrooms in The White House, the historic 17th Century centrepiece of the estate. Meaning that whether you and your group want to stay after a meeting, training day or conference or whether you want to find a wedding reception or event venue that allows your guests the option of staying overnight, Gilwell Park is convenient and offers amazing value.
All bedrooms are en suite and equipped with free internet access, colour television, power showers, tea, coffee and biscuits. Continental and full English breakfast is served every morning for residential guests. Please note that our accommodation is reserved for groups and those attending functions at Gilwell Park Conference, Training and Event Centre.
Gilwell Park is owned by The Scout Association, one of the UK’s largest and most well known charities. Not only does Gilwell Park provide important meeting and event facilities for the staff and volunteers of The Scout Association, it is also available for use by everyone! By opening the centre up to Guides, Schools, Corporates and other group users we are able to ensure affordability and modern facilities for all our users and help generate funds which can be put back into Scouting as a whole.
