Built in 1625, this former coaching inn has been part of life in Holmes Chapel and Brereton for almost 400 years. Fantastic
  A very warm and friendly old style pub/hotel. The rooms are away from the main building and therefore quiet. Situated on a loop between two motorway junctions this hotel was the ideal stop over during our long drive to Scotland. We stayed again on our way back. Reviewed by Anonymous on 11 Nov 2012
