The Hadrian Lodge Hotel is situated on the main road into Newcastle City Centre from the A187 (Tyne Tunnel), we are 10 minutes from the centre by taxi, and the same by using the modern Metro system. Hadrian Road Metro station is opposite the hotel. Please note there are two Hadrian Roads in Newcastle. One is in the West End by Wingrove Road, we are in the East end going directly to the Tyne Tunnel A18

Friendly, attentive staff and a relaxed atmosphere are the main attractions of our hotel, with tasty cooked food served throughout the day until 9.00pm ensuring an enjoyable stay. Hairdryers, Irons and room service is available on request.

We are half a mile from the new Segedunum Roman Fort museum which is a major attraction in the North East, because it is the last fort on the famous Roman Hadrians Wall, this is why it is named Wallsend, a full sized bath house is an interesting feature of this intriguing site.
