A wonderful old Georgian Coaching Inn situated in a quintessential English village in the heart of rural Wiltshire and serving some of the best food in the West Country. Local historians tell us that there's been an Angel Inn on this site since medieval times, but our Pub and Restaurant, like most of this unspoilt Georgian village, dates from around 1750. Hindon is beautifully peaceful but also wonderfully well situated as a stopping-off point for West Country travellers as we're less than two miles from the A303. Many guests book one of our nine bedrooms, (all en suite), as a base for exploring this beautiful part of Britain - Salisbury's only 15 miles away and the coast at Poole and Bournemouth are easy to reach - stopping en route to admire Dorset's tranquillity and timeless villages. There are 2 Car Parks and coaches are welcome, subject to pre-booking. Party menus available on request.
