Situated in the lovely flint and stone village of Sutton, the White Horse Inn has a mellow exterior, hidden for much of the year by Virginia creeper. For two and a half centuries this has been the village alehouse. Tastefully restored, it now has the comforts of the 21st century, whilst maintaining the charm and character of a bye-gone age. With a blazing log fire and half-clad walls this is one of the most comfortable hostelries in the county. Featuring also one of the finest examples of herringbone masonry in the country. The White Horse has one of the finest restaurants in West Sussex serving quality and varied Lunchtime and Evening Menus. All dishes are made where possible from the finest fresh local produce. Daily Specials are displayed in the restaurant. Booking is strongly recommended.
