This traditional 16th-century coaching inn offers tasty, good-value food and drink. It is in the pretty village of Ockley, just off the A29, and has free parking and en suite rooms. The Kings Arms has a quiet location in the Surrey countryside, between Dorking and Horsham. It has lots of original character, with low ceilings and wooden beams. In the winter, there is a real log fire and in the summer, there is the award-winning garden. The en suite rooms have TVs, telephones, trouser presses and tea/coffee. The Kings Arms offers good food, wine and beer at affordable prices. The traditional food is made using fresh seasonal, local produce and includes Sunday roasts, steaks and homemade pies.
