The Angel was first licensed in 1420 and is now a family run Inn at the heart of the village opposite The Guildhall. There are eight comfortable and well equipped en-suite bedrooms and a beautiful residents' sitting room with a fully pargeted ceiling. Lunch and Dinner are served every day in the bar and restaurant. AA rosette, Which Hotel 'County Hotel 1996' and Good Pub Guide 'National Pub of the Year 1997'.
