Andrew and Philippa have owned The Half Moon Inn since 23rd August 1991 when it was reopened following a period of neglect and closure.
Over the past 17 years much time and effort has been put into maintaining the fabric of the pub and turning it into a focal point of this lovely village.
A skittle alley was added, the function room extended, the kitchens have been refurbished and re-equipped and in 2004 6 new letting rooms were built bringing our total to 10.
Real ale is a passion and as a result we have received several CAMRA awards as well as featuring in The Good Beer Guide. We have served over 1000 different beers so far and continue to source an interesting and varied range of beers for every palate.
Our house wines are New World varietal and are all available by the glass.
We like to use as many local producers as is practicable. Our Gloucester Old Spot Pork comes from Home Farm, Horsington and our other meats come via Andrew Barclay Butchers in Wincanton. The fish and seafood comes from M & J Seafoods in Poole
