Welcome to "The Old Malt House Hotel", for comfort and hospitality in the heart of the countryside, just six miles south of the Historic Georgian City of Bath on the fringe of the Mendip Hills. A Superb Hotel ideally located for leisure & business travellers alike. Well situated to explore the Mendips, the south Cotswolds, and many local places of interest. Surrounded with so many interesting places that are steeped in history however long your stay your hosts Jen & David are at hand to make sure that your stay is a rewarding experience. This delightful family run hotel in the beautiful hamlet of Radford is set on the fringe of the Mendip Hills, 6 miles south of Bath. The hotel is not in the village of Timsbury, but lies about half a mile away under the opposite hill in Radford - a small hamlet that has only recently been signposted. The hotel was built by the local brewery in 1835 as a malt house. We purchased it in l973 after it had been used for various purposes and was in a derelict condition. We then worked into transforming it into a small comfortable country hotel, with all the amenities required by today's traveller, but retaining the character of a building of its age. For many of our guests, their pet is very much one of the family and if they could not bring them on holiday with them, then they would not take a holiday. They are very welcome here at The Old Malt House.
