The Oakhouse stands proudly in the centre of the medieval town of Axbridge, in the heart of rural Somerset. Parts of the Oakhouse date back to the 11th Century. Features include an ancient well and large inglenook fireplace in the snug.
The Oakhouse has a cafe bar and bistro, and is the perfect special events venue, as well as having nine en-suite bedrooms for overnight accommodation.
With an exciting and locally renowned chef and menus to match the Oakhouse offers a selection of rustic dishes, dishes of the world and a fine wine list.
The hotel is the perfect blend of past and present, successfully combining character with contemporary design. The rooms have been designed with simple lines and muted colours to create comfortable and tasteful accommodation.
