The Plough Inn is situated in the small village of Clifton Hampden, close to the River Thames, and dates from c1600. Timber beams, a thatched roof, and inglenook fireplaces are just some of the original features. The finest lagers and beers are stocked. Accommodation comprises of twelve en-suite bedrooms, all tastefully decorated and furnished, most with antiques. Each room has either a four-poster or half-poster bed and includes telephone, television, trouser press and tea/coffee making facilities. The Restaurant is spacious, yet intimate and cosy. It offers a varied menu, which includes homemade food, fresh vegetables and vegetarian dishes. A la Carte or light meals are also available.
