Mara Explorer is situated in the centre of the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Its Talek River-facing tents are situated on raised, wooden platforms. Each has a Victorian, claw-foot tub. The spacious tents at Mara come with an elegant décor with hand-carved mahogany furniture and antique wardrobes. Each has a mosquito net and a private bathroom with a double vanity and an indoor shower. Free toiletries and a hairdryer are also available. A freshly prepared breakfast is served daily. The staff also provides room service. Guests can spot many animals from the camp or join one of the certified guides on an open-jeep safari. Guests of Mara Explorer Tented Camp may make use of the facilities at sister cam Samburu.
