Originally built as a farmstead in 1747, this stone-built Inn and restaurant features a cosy open fire, sunny walled beer-garden, excellent bar meals and a la carte menus (including vegetarian) using fresh, local produce, good choice of wines and a wide range of cask and bottle conditioned beers from local micro-breweries.
Bedrooms have been carefully modernised to provide comfortable accommodation, all rooms are en-suite and have colour television, ironing boards, trouser press and hairdryer. We have four rooms specifically for visitors with disabilities on the ground floor and close to parking spaces.
An ideal place for exploring Hadrian’s Wall, Kielder and Border Reiver country, whether by car, cycle or on foot.
