The Angel Inn offers home-cooked meals and real ales, amongst the charming 17th-century stone buildings of Alston village. The starting point for the scenic South Tynedale Railway, England's highest narrow gauge train line, is 5 minutes’ walk from the Angel. Village pubs and restaurants are on the doorstep.
