A Victorian house in private grounds, this YHA hostel is situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the pretty village of Ingleton. The area is known for its walking routes and striking caves, and there is a famous waterfall trail that begins in the village. Guests can explore the limestone cliffs nearby, and try climbing at Twisleton Scar. Gisburn Forest is a 30-minute drive away and offers mountain-biking trails for all abilities, as well as picturesque views. For guests wishing to take on the Three Peaks Challenge, Pen-y-Ghent is only 15 miles away. YHA Ingleton offers dormitory-style rooms with bunk beds and shared bathroom facilities. There is free parking on site, and guests can enjoy a range of drinks and tasty meals. The hostel is located just off the A65, a 30-minute drive from Morcambe and 25 minutes from Lancaster. A 5-minute drive from the building is the spectacular White Scar Cave, which dates back 350 million years.
