Main Street Thornton Curtis, Near Ulceby, North Lincolnshire DN39 6XW - United Kingdom
The Thornton Hunt Inn is a traditional Freehouse set in an attractive grade II listed building, which dates back to around the Eighteenth Century. It has been said that King Henry the Eighth stayed on this site while visiting Thornton Abbey.
The Inn is situated in the quaint village of Thornton Curtis on the A1077, approx. 3 miles from Ulceby, 18 miles from Scunthorpe, 5 miles from Barton-upon-Humber (and the Humber Bridge) and 19 miles from Grimsby, and lies in the heart of the glorious Lincolnshire countryside.
We have extended our grade II listed building to encompass six en-suite bedrooms, one single and five double rooms with one ground floor room designed for disabled access. We have attained a “VisitEngland” grading of “four stars – Inn”. We are a non smoking establishing and this includes all our bedrooms.
If you are visiting the area on business or pleasure, working at the oil refinery at Killingholme, the ports at Immingham or Humberside Airport or simply enjoying many of our attractions in North Lincolnshire we can provide en-suite accommodation at competitive prices.
