nineteenth century London facade is an up-to-date hotel, with every modern facility in its 30 large comfortable bedrooms. It's close to one of the oldest parts of London, the 'Borough', well known to Shakespeare and Dickens. The Mad Hatter is perfectly placed if you have business in the City of London, a half-mile taxi ride takes you straight into the City. For the leisure traveller there's a lot more to see and do closer to hand. Tate Modern, London's new world-class museum of modern art is a few minutes away. Beyond it is Shakespeare's Globe theatre, the National Theatre, the Royal Festival Hall and the Hayward Gallery and, of course, the London Eye. Covent Garden and the Strand are only about a mile away and Oxford Street, Regent Street and Soho half a mile or so further on. The Fuller's Ale & Pie House on the ground floor of the Mad Hatter is a welcoming London pub, and an ideal place to meet and greet friends. We have a traditional Ale & Pie house on site.
