Situated in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, the all-inclusive Mhondoro Lodge offers modern, thatched-roof villas with furnished balconies overlooking the waterhole. It features a health club, including a gym and private massage rooms. The air-conditioned villas at Mhondoro come with a fireplace and an iPod docking station. Each has a bathroom with luxury toiletries, a tub, and an outdoor rain-shower. Some have a balcony with a hot tub. Game drives are accompanied by professional rangers and are scheduled for the morning or evening. Special drives for children can be arranged. Bush walks are also offered. Traditional African dishes are served at the lodge’s restaurant. After a day out, guests can watch the sunset from the terrace. The Waterberg is just a 30-minute drive from Mhondoro Lodge. Marakele National Park is about 1 hour by car.
