Overlooking the canal, the central Penny Street Bridge is a friendly hotel close to shops and restaurants. It has free internet access, a stylish bar and a relaxed restaurant. You can also enjoy the restaurant's cuisine al fresco in the courtyard area. The food is seasonal, locally sourced and freshly prepared. Penny Street Bridge is about 5 minutes' walk from Lancaster Train Station. Lancaster Castle and its beautiful grounds are about 650 metres away. Penny Street Bridge is a historic building with spacious, modern bedrooms, each with air conditioning, a flat-screen digital TV and power shower. Limited parking is available on site, and can be pre-booked with the hotel. Alternatively, vouchers for Thurnham Street car park can be purchased from reception.
