Open all year, Once a grand Victorian house, and established as a hotel early in the last century, The Belmont has a long tradition of offering superior accommodation in elegant surroundings.
Standing in mature grounds well back from the road behind Keats Green, the Belmont enjoys peace and privacy, yet is ideally located a short stroll to the picturesque thatched Old Village, wooded Shanklin Chine, beach and town centre.
Here you start your day with a hearty English, vegetarian, Gluten Free or Continental breakfast looking out onto the garden and pool from the elegant dining room.
The colonial-style veranda, spanning the front of the house, is a delightful spot to settle down with a book or newspaper in the morning sun. Indoors, you can unwind in our comfortable lounge and admire the view of the cliff-top church.
The Belmont is well known for our warm welcome, friendly efficient service and the relaxing atmosphere.

There are thirteen well-appointed en-suite rooms including sea-facing rooms, Premier and superior rooms. We have a secluded suntrap garden, outdoor pool and a bar. The Superior Twin rooms are large enough to sleep 3 or 4 people upon request.
We have received many compliments from our guests and are featured on Tripadvisor and are in the AA B&B Guide.
We are AA: 4 star Guest Accomodation registered.
Free off street parking is available to all our guests alongside our secure cycle lock up. Although our check in time is 2 o'clock we are flexible to accommodate your needs. Sorry we DO NOT take children under 5 years of age.
