Located along Faxafloi Bay’s scenic waterfront promenade, Hotel Cabin is a 5-minute walk from the large geothermal Laugardalslaug swimming pool. It offers free private parking and rooms with satellite TV. A private bathroom and work desk are standard to each guest room. Some feature a flat-screen TV and refrigerator. Many have scenic views over the city or sea. Cabin Hotel has a buffet restaurant, along with a lobby bar where guests can enjoy a drink while watching TV. Reykjavik Zoo and Family Park is about 10 minutes’ walk away, while Kringlan Shopping Mall is less than 2 km away. Hotel staff will gladly help arrange other area activities such as hiking, fishing and whale watching excursions.
