Built in the early 1800’s, originally named ‘The Railway’ then ‘Travellers Rest’ the Jester is run by Allen and Anne Peeks who have made it into the locally renowned, award winning eatery it is today, offering a warm welcome, lovely bar and conservatory, fine ales and excellent food and a picturesque garden.
