In the heart of the Hampshire countryside is the Fox and Hounds. This traditional pub is in the pretty village of Crawley, a 10-minute drive from Winchester. The bar, with its 3 open log fires, serves a range of meals and a selection of English ales, lagers, wines and spirits. A full English or continental breakfast is served each morning, and special diets can be catered for. Rooms at the Fox and Hounds are separate from the pub itself, and each comes with a Freeview TV and its own fridge. Tea and coffee facilities are included in each room. A typical, quiet, English rural village, Crawley has a pond, church and many thatched cottages. a 10-minute drive away is the River Test, well-known for its trout and salmon fishing spots. The Fox and Hounds has been part of village life since the 19th century. The pub was rebuilt in 1910 in a Tudor style.
