Situated in the heart of Old Portsmouth and overlooking the harbour, Fortitude Cottage is built on the site of a 16th-century cottage destroyed during WWII and named after an 18th-century warship. Portsmouth city centre can be reached in a 10-minute drive. Each room at Fortitude Cottage features an en suite bathroom, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Some have views of the harbour and city. A traditional English breakfast is served in the dining room, as well as vegetarian options, smoked salmon and omelettes.
