It is sometimes said that Gilwell Park is four venues in one. After all, where else can you scale a 22 metre-climbing tower, jump in a canoe, hold a meeting in a purpose built conference suite and enjoy overnight accommodation in a fully restored Grade II listed building. Set in 108 acres of mature parkland, the White House at Gilwell Park combines 17th Century charm with 21st century facilities. Outstanding
  Gilwell Park is not comparable to a normal Hotel. It is living history of scout movement and as scouts we love the special atmosphere during our stay especially with the big cub scout camp taking part. The executive room and en suite bathroom was large and nicely appointed. Parking was a little bit difficult because of mentioned scout camp but solution was provided. Marvelous!! staff very good. had breakfast and thought ok, but was a little late as not too fresh, after 8am. value for money excellent plus discount due to scout members.

My self and my wife and children enjoyed staying at gilwell park , the rooms are good value for money very clean and tidy and the room facilities come in handy, the white house is grand and has an interesting history, it is surrounded by beautiful grounds which are well kept and maintained with interesting wildlife which my family enjoyed seeing when exploring the grounds and adjacent forest, I will definitely be returning in the near future to gilwell park.
