Lynebank is a Grade 2 listed building, formerly being a 17th Century staging post. It has recently been refurbished to a twelve bedroom guest house, all the bedrooms being en-suite. Run by Sandy & Jan Butler, the guest house has two lounges, one with Sky Digital and a dining room, which is operated as a coffee shop/restaurant during the day. Under the old tourist awards, Lynebank was awarded "highly commended" status due to the high level of service and friendliness available at the guest house. Not only is good British food on offer, but Jan also specialises in vegetarian food. Most alcoholic drinks are available with a good stock of malt whisky.
There are also plenty of soft drinks on offer, the drinks license allows the sale of all drinks
