A charming country house in the village of Broadmayne, Old Church Farm was once part of an estate belonging to King Henry VIII. It still retains many traditional 16th-century features. The bedrooms all feature scenic views of the garden and surrounding village. They each have a flat-screen TV, and tea and coffee-making facilities. Guests can enjoy full English or continental breakfast in the dining room, with wooden beaming and an inglenook fireplace. There is also a peaceful, walled garden to relax in. Old Church Farm is just 15 minutes’ drive from the coast, where guests can visit the Olympic venues at Weymouth and Portland. There is free private parking on site, and secure storage for cycling or watersports equipment.
