Situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park, The Cables features a hot tub, outdoor pizza oven and 2 patio areas. A guest lounge with log fire, Nintendo Wii and Sky TV is also on offer, as well as free on-site parking. Free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV and an en suite bathroom are featured in each room at The Cables, as well as bathrobes & slippers. A hearty full English breakfast is served each morning, as well as a selection of specials and continental options. Guests can also enjoy homemade bread, marmalade, cakes and shortbread. Evening meals are also provided, and include locally sourced ingredients such as freshly-caught Derwent trout. Homemade pizza is available in the garden and made in an Italian pizza oven. The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Derwent Valley can be reached within a 40-minute drive, while the Peak District offers a wide range of outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing and water sports.
