Surrounded by the picturesque Pennine hills, YHA Crowden provides easy access to local walking routes such as the Pennine Way and the Longdendale Trail. An on-site licensed restaurant, TV lounge and a games room are available for guests to use. Guests at YHA Crowden can enjoy mountain biking around the Peak District’s cycle paths and scenic reservoirs. Windsurfing and sailing can be enjoyed at Glossop Sailing Club, which is just 2.8 miles from the hostel. The pretty town of Holmfith is a 20-minute drive and was the setting for the famous TV programme 'Last of The Summer Wine'. Laundry facilities and a garden are provided, and on-site parking is available free of charge. A picnic lunch is can also be provided.
